Fastest Measuring Light Barrier with High Resolution
The light barriers in the SpiderScan series from Baumer have been specially developed for sophisticated detection and measuring applications. SpiderScan light barriers are particularly suitable when objects are to be quickly and accurately measured. As the fastest light barriers world-wide, they measure with a resolution of 2,5 mm in a maximum measuring field of 1,67 m. In this way, a precise evaluation of object profiles can be achieved at the highest conveying speeds. For example, high requirements are made on the durability of the light barriers in the timber industry. For example, protruding parts can frequently and repeatedly strike or scrape the light barrier. However, thanks to the robust metal housing and IP 65 level protection, the SpiderScan is well protected against external influences. A special synchronization input allows up to 3 systems to be operated without their interfering with one another. The Spiderview parameter setting software permits parameters to be easily defined.
